Privacy Policy for FintaroFlow

FintaroFlow ("the App") is a personal expense tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, where it is stored, and what control you have.

1. Data We Process

The App may process the data you create or configure inside it, including:

• Transactions (amounts, dates, notes, categories, currencies)
• Recurring transaction rules
• Categories (names, icons, colors)
• App settings (theme, period options, widget preferences, lock settings, sync settings)
• Local app interaction state, such as whether a rating prompt has already been shown

2. Storage Model

• By default, data is stored locally on your device (offline-first).
• No advertising SDKs are used.
• No analytics or tracking SDKs are used.
• The App does not sell personal data.

3. Optional Cloud Sync

If you enable Dropbox sync or Google Drive sync, the App uses the selected provider's authorization flow and uploads exported CSV app data to your cloud account. This may include transactions, notes, categories, currencies, dates, and related app data that you entered.

Cloud sync is optional and controlled by you. Third-party processing is governed by the selected provider's terms and privacy policy.

4. CSV Import and Export

The App can import and export CSV files when you explicitly select files through the Android file picker or choose an export destination. Import and export may include transaction notes and category names that you entered.

5. Biometric Lock

If enabled, biometric authentication is used only to protect app access on your device. Biometric templates are managed by Android and are not collected, stored, or transmitted by the App.

6. Google Play Rating

The App may show an optional prompt asking whether you want to rate FintaroFlow on Google Play. The App stores only local prompt state, such as whether the prompt has already been shown.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only when you explicitly enable an external sync destination, choose to export data, or when legally required.

8. Retention and Deletion

• You can edit and delete data within the App.
• You can clear data in-app or by uninstalling the App.
• Deleted items may remain temporarily in recycle-bin style features if enabled.
• Data synced to Dropbox or Google Drive must be managed through the selected provider if you want to remove it from that provider.

9. Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect app-managed data. Data sent to Dropbox or Google Drive is transmitted using the selected provider's HTTPS APIs. No software storage or transfer method can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the date above.
